Objectives:
The objectives of the one-day programme are :
• To analyse and discuss the conceptual aspects
of the deemed exports scheme and the incentives
made available.
• To evaluate the incentives available under
various statutes
• To critically examine the documentation
requirements under deemed exports scheme.

Whom:
The programme is targeted at Junior and middle level
executives of companies and entrepreneurs in the
small scale segment who supply their manufactures
to duty free or EPCG license holders or Export Oriented
Units or to projects funded by multilateral/bilateral
agencies or to Fertilizer, Petroleum or Mega Power
projects or to projects and purposes that can import
the goods at zero duty. The officers of agencies
executing such multilaterally/bilaterally funded
projects or Fertilizer/Refinery/Mega Power Projects,
Duty-free/EPCG license holders and EOU/SEZ units
can also benefit by attending the programme.

Faculty:
This programme will be conducted by Mr.
T.N.C. Rajagopalan.
Mr.T.N.C.Rajagopalan,
formerly a Senior Bank Manager, is a consultant
in the field of exports and exports since the last
25 years. He is a consultant to number of well-known
companies. He conducts training programmes regularly
for industry executives and managers in major cities
of India on various topics relating to imports and
exports. He has trained Finance Ministry officials.
Mr.
Rajagopalan
writes a weekly column ‘Exim Matters’
in Business Standard. He also answers questions
from readers of Business Standard on indirect tax
matters on alternate Thursdays. He has authored
useful books on Foreign Trade Policy.
Nominal Registration Fee:
Rs.500/- per participant for one days. Fee includes
course fee, cost of reading material, lunch and
