Traditionally, Foreign Trade Policy was aimed at
facilitating Imports and Exports for manufacturing
sector. It is only recently, a realization has emerged
that services too can be a vital source of Foreign
Exchange Earning. Since the realization was global,
India too followed suite. Under current Foreign
Trade Policy, many new innovative measures have
been initiated to encourage export of services and
to project India as Hub of provider of world standard
services in various fields.
The objective of this interactive session is to
share with the participants some of the Foreign
Trade Policy initiatives.
