well developed and efficient logistic system would provide
a company to compete in terms of delivery time. The
scope of the logistics function has widened enormously
to include management of warehouse, location decisions,
inventory management, choice and mode of transport,
packaging decisions etc.
The
Diploma Programme on Logistics and Shipping Management
is an attempt to provide the participants who are in
international business to understand various issues
of logistics and shipping, so that they take positive
decisions to achieve efficiently in International Business
Operations.
Who
should attend: Persons involved in Export-Import,
Logistics, Shipping; entrepreneurs and students who
are studying for International Business.

Evaluation
:
There will be continuous evaluation. Participants should
attend all the sessions.
(Minimum
attendance 80%)
Certificate
:
Successful participants will be issued Diploma Certificate.

:
Graduates in any discipline. Executives who are working
in Shipping / CHA Export / Import related areas will
find this course very useful.
Fee :
Fee Rs.12500/- per participant. (10% concession
for Members, 20% concession for Patron Members.) Fee
includes course fee, cost of reading material, lunch
and refreshments. Fee once paid shall not be refunded.

About
GoG-AMA Centre for International Trade
With a view to provide a regular forum of activities
in International Trade education, training and research
studies, the Ahmedabad Management Association and the
Government of Gujarat jointly promoted the GoG-AMA Centre
for International Trade at the Ahmedabad Management
Association.
The Centre focuses on the following activities:
i) Development of trade support services
ii) Trade information
iii) Human resource development,
iv) Needs assessment and programme design for trade
promotion
v) International Taxation and Legal Aspects
vi) Creating awareness and understanding the impact
and implications of WTO
vii) Build a library of trade related books and research
papers including WTO / IPR,
viii) Conduct training programmes, conferences and Seminars
on matters related to International trade
ix) Support research in the field of international trade
with special focus on products and services of interest
to Gujarat.
