The Centre will focus on the following activities:

1. Development of trade support services
2. Trade information
3. Human resource development
4. Needs assessment and programme design for trade promotion
5. International Taxation and Legal Aspects
6. Creating awareness and understanding the impact and implications of WTO
7. Build a library of trade related books and research papers including WTO / IPR
8. Conduct training programmes, conferences and seminars on matters related to international trade
9. Support research in the field of international trade with special focus on products and services of interest to Gujarat.

The scope of activities shall be expanded further, as and when required. As the first phase, the Centre would organize seminars for the Industry Group Associations already identified on WTO and its implications.
